Speech against animal sacrifice at Gadhi Mai Temple

I have taken refuge in the greatest vehicle of vehicles which is the Yampa Dharma.

I have taken refuge in all monks and the sangha of all religions.

I turn to the wisdom of Buddha and the Noble Masters.

With all sentient beings I take refuge in the wisdom of the all knowing Buddha, Mai Maitreya.

For world peace for all sentient beings I wish you well and first give you these blessings:

• Om Namo Guru Buddha Gyani (Hail to the Master of the Wisdom of Buddha).
• Hail to the formless Divine Mother, by whom the worldly cycle of sin was overcome in nine forms, has dedicated Buddha Gyani, the form of wisdom for the guidance and the welfare of sentient beings.

In the whole universe, it is not that the wisdom of the Noble Truths does not exist. In all noble beings there are codes of ethics, initiations, religions, which change, and they change appearances. In all noble human beings there can be wrong codes of ethics, initiations and religions which are sadly poisoned by the world in the form of wealth.

Thus accept only noble path of dharma. In the world there are only three kinds of formless dharmas:

• First is the dharma form that causes bad influences.
• The second shows the form of upside-down, reverse dharma.
• Third is the appearance of true form of Dharma.

That is to say:

• The first dharma of bad influence. In this universe, in order to secure one's own selfish pleasures; fear, threats, terrorism, violence and demonstration of miracles are used to protect the wrong code of conduct. Pure selfishness causes this, and it is not right way.
• The second show the form of upside-down, reverse dharma. Humans in order to profit from momentary gains have strayed from the path of truth. This is a harmful form (of dharma).
• The third true Dharma in order to benefit sentient beings of the world adheres to the path of virtue and having an inner sense of wellbeing. This form of true dharma is the form that leads from suffering and ignorance to wisdom through loving kindness.

Between this earth and the sky, there live infinite number of beings which are conscious of this world, whose ways are birth, death and impermanence.

Let us humans search for peace, Mai Maitreya, truth and wisdom.

This world is unable to make such a search with its kinds of morals and behavior. There is no foundation for good moral conduct. We have become anti-social. There is harm, there is rage, selfishness and jealousy, constructing the society. And the construction of society is devoid of foundations.

An innocent being should not be deprived of its happy life and be surrendered by sacrifice, so that by its death "conscious" human beings can acquire wealth!

How selfish can they be?

Human society has lost the power of Mai Maitreya to show mercy, love and compassion. So human beings murder innocent beings.

Why do they do it?

We human beings, in order to fulfill our sinful selfishness harm sentient beings. In order to fulfill ones desires, only good old traditional and ethical ways can be used. With this message I would like to appeal to all religions to let innocent beings be free from harm at Gadhi Mai Temple.

At Ghadi Mai Temple animals which...

...the innocent animals...

...at our villages and homes...

...the innocent animals...

...may this not happen...

...may obstacles in worship and harm not happen...

May all beings be happy.

महा महायान यानिक महा याम्पा धर्मको शरणमा छु

सर्व भिक्षु गणको शरणमा छु

सर्व सर्वे धर्म गणको शरणमा छु

Maha mahayan yanik, Maha Yampa Dharmako saran ma chu.

Sarva bhicchu ganko saran ma chu.

Sarva sarbae dharma sanghako saran ma chu


आर्य चर्या बुद्ध ज्ञानी

आर्य जनको हिर्चातमा छु

Arya charya Buddha Gyani “

arya janko hirchata ma chhu


सर्व जगत प्राणीलाई प्र बुद्घ मै मैत्रेय ज्ञानको शरणमा दर्शन गराउँदै छ

विश्व शान्ति तथा समस्त जगत प्राणीको उद्घार गर्ने पहिलो मार्गदर्शन हुन

Sarva jagat pranilai pra- Buddha MaiMaitreya gyanko saran ma darsan garaundai cha.

Biswa shanti tata samastha jagat praniko uddhar garne pahilo margadarsan hun:


ओ‌ नमो गुरु बुद्घ ज्ञानी

ओ निराकार परमात्मा ज्ञान रुपमा

OM Namo guru Buddha Gyani

Om nirankar paratma gyan rup " Maa"


संसारीक भव चक्रलाई नवम् रूप अर्थात् समर्पित बुद्घ ज्ञानी मार्ग दर्शन ज्ञान रूप सर्व जगत प्राणीको हित र कल्याणको निम्ति

sansarik Bhab chakra lai nawam roop arthat samarpit Guru Buddha Gyani Marga Darshan gyan rup sarva jagat prani ko hit ra kalyanko nimiti


सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्डमा आर्य सत्य ज्ञान नभएको हिन

Sampurna bramandama Aryasatya gyan nabaeko hina


सबै आर्यजनहरूमा नीति स‌स्कार धर्म परिवर्तन गराइ परिवर्तित रूप दर्शन गराउँदै छन्

Sabbae arya janharuma niti sanskar dharma paribartan garai paribartit rup darsan garaundaechan

सबै आर्यजनहरूमा गलत नीति स‌स्कार धर्म रुपले स‌सारलाई विखण्डन रूपमा दुखिलेदैछन्


Sabbae arya jan haruma galat niti sanskar dharma ruple sansarlai bikhan dhan rupma dukhile daichan.

त्यसैले धर्मको सुगम मार्गलाई मात्र स्विकार्नु

Tyesaile dharmako sugham margalai matra swikaranu


यस स‌सारमा धर्मको तीन अरूप मार्गहरू छन

yas sancharma dharmako tin arup marga haru chan


एक नराम्रो प्रभाव पार्ने धर्म रूप

Ek: naramro prabab parne dharma rup.

दुई उल्टा विवारि धर्म रूप देखाउने

Dui: ulta bibari dharma rup dekhaune.


तीन सचता रूप दर्शन गराउने धर्म

Tin: sachata rup darshan garaune dharma


अर्थात्

artat.


एक नराम्रो प्रभाव पार्ने धर्म

ek naramro prabab parne dharma.


यस ब्रह्माण्डमा आफ्नो अस्तित्व जगाइ राख्नको निमित्त डर त्रास आत‌कित हि‌सा चमत्कार देखाइ स‌सारलाई आफ्नो विधातामा राख्ने गलत नीति हुन

Yas brahmand ma apno astitwo jogai rakhno nimit dar,tras,aatankit,hinsa,chamatkar dikaye sansarlai apno vidaata ma rakhne galat niti hun


स्भर्त पारी नीधिता पुरा गर्ने मार्गदर्शन नभएको हुन

Svartha pari nidita pu ra garne marga darsan nabahaeko hu.


दुई उल्टा विवारी धर्म रूप देखाउने

Dui: ulta bibari dharma rup dekaune


मानव जीवनमा क्षणिक लाभ प्राप्त गरि दिन रूपले सचता मार्गलाई विहीन बनाउने हिंसक रूप हुन

manav jivanma chenik laav praptagarae dine ruple sachatta margalai bihin banaune himsak rup hun.


तीन सचता रूप धर्म भनेको सांसारिक जीवित प्राणीहरूको निमित्त शील पुण्य धर्म मार्गलाई अनुशरण गर्दै

Tin sachatta rup dharma bhaneko sansarik jibit prani haruko nimit: sila, punya, dharma marga lai anasaran gardae


दुख वर्ता कस्तो रूप दिदै अज्ञानतालाई ज्ञान रूप दिइ जिवित उद्धार गर्ने सत्यता धर्म रूप हुन

dukkha barta kasto rup didae　agyantalai gyan rup di jibit uddhar garne satyata dharma rup hun.


यस धर्ती र खासको बीचमा असङ्ख्य प्राणीहरू भौँतारि रहेका छन्

चेतना रूपी स‌सारको जन्म र मृत्यु अनित्य स‌सारको नीति हुन ।

yas dharti ra kash ko bich ma ashankhya prani haru,bahuteri rahe ko chhan

chetana rupi sansar ko janma ra mrityu, anitya sansar ko niti hoon...


हामी मानव शान्ति मै मैत्रेय सत्य ज्ञानको खोजहरू

Hami manav shanti Mai Maitreya satte gyanko kojh garau.


जहाँ स‌सारले खोजेको जस्तो नीति स‌स्कार भन्न सकिन

Jahan sansarle kujiko jasto niti sanskar bhanna sakina.


त्यहाँ नीति स‌स्कार हुन अस्तित्व रहन

Tyahan niti sanskar hun Astituva rahana.


जन हि‌सा त्यहाँ आक्रोस स्वार्ग ईर्ष्या समाजलाई निर्माण गर्दै समाजलाई निर्माण हुँदै

अस्तित्व विहीन हुँदै गैराखेका छन्

Jahan hinsa. Tyahan akrosh. swarta irsha samaj lai nirman gardai. Samjlai nirman hundae. Astituva vihina hundae garirahaekochan.


एक अवोध प्राणी प्राणको निमित्त हासी हासी समर्पणबादमा विलिन हुदै मृत्युको रुपमा चेतनशील मानवले धान दिन्छन् कति सुभार्ते छन्

Ek avodh prani pranko nimi hashi hashi samarvan vadma bilinhundae miltuko rupma jitansil manavle dhand dinchan. Kati suvarte chan?


मानव कुल आखिर दया माया करुणा मै मैत्रेय भावमा विलिन भएको मानव कुल ती अवोध प्राणीको हत्या किन गर्छ

Manav kul akhir dayan, mayan, karuna, Mai Maitreya bhab ma bilin bahaeko manav kule ti avodh praniko hatya…kina garcha?


हामी मानव कहिले आफ्नो स्वार्थ भाव पुर्तिको निम्ति प्राणी हिसा गर्छन्

Hami manav kahile apnas svarta bhab purtiku nimti prani himsa garchan.


मनोकामना पूर्तिको निम्ति के नै गर्न सक्छ र मात्र स‌स्कार र पुरोआवाध नीति मात्र हुन

Manukarmana pultiko nimti kehinae garna sakcha ra matra sanskar ra puroavad niti matra hun.


यही सन्देश साध गढीमाई मन्दिरमा हुने अवोध प्राणीको हिसाबाट मुक्त गरिदिनको लागि सर्व धर्मलाई अनुरोध गर्दछु

Yehin sandesh sath Gadhi Mai manderma hune avodh praniko hinsa bata mukta garidina ko lagi sarva dharmalai anuirod garda chu.


गढीमाई मन्दिरमा अवोध प्राणीहरू गाउ घरमा नलगेमा कुनै पिर वाधा अड्चन र क्षति हुने छैन ।

Gadhi Mai manderma avodh praniharu gau ghaar ma nalagema kunai

Pir bada adchana ra chytei huney chaina


सर्व मङ्गलम अस्तु

Sarva Mangalam astu.

Footnote: Dharma Sangha does not often use the pronoun "I" in speeches, it is added to make translation easier to understand. The use of "I" is in fact rare. First person verbal indications (-chhu) are more common than the personal pronoun "I" (ma, though not to be confused with the same word, which is the post-position for "in" or "at", such as "tyo samay ma" – at that time) and sometimes the word "my" (mero). Most common is the use of "one's own" (aphno).
