Command From the Bhagavan

1. Prayers of Kunchu Sum (the Three Divine Beings)

2. A message for world peace, for all living beings and for the welfare of humankind...

3. I salute the devotees of all Religions.

4. I salute monks and nuns.

5. I also salute the Dharma-Sangha (religious organisations/groups).

6. To benefit and liberate humankind and (other) beings of the world,

7. after Bhagavan (the Honorable One) of the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha), commanded me,

8. I have abided by the promise to free the transient world from the Ocean of Worldliness (bhav alt. Illusion),

9. and to free (the world) from worldly defects for the welfare of humankind and living beings of the world on the road to freedom,

10. I am always single-mindedly contemplating and being mindful.

11. The (other) living beings of the world also want to be liberated from worldly sorrows and pain.

12. But they inherently do not create religions on the path to freedom like the human world does.

13. They are also praying to Bhagavan.

14. They are engrossed in seeing this world.

15. Traditions are being established by humans that are destroying (everything) from living creatures on up to humankind.

16. Killings, violence, anger, jealousy and divisions are being caused in the name of religion.

17. The World is One. God is One. The Human Soul is One.

18. Only tradition and customs are different.

19. Therefore, always adopt mercy, compassion, non-violence and peace on the path.

20. Starting from this society, this is the message I want to give to the humans of the world.

21. That religion on equality with Truth, that human religion will be in search of Truth.

22. The search of the path of Truth is the only beneficial way of humans.

23. There are thousands and thousands of guidances among humans.

24. Humans today have imprisoned this society and all the humans in the world by means of chaos, greed, attachment, anger, and jealousy.

25. In this way the world is on the road to destruction.

26. So this should be taken into consideration by the humans of the world.

27. Humans should never forget their ultimate religious duty to society.

28. Refrain from killings, violence, greed, jealousy, attachments, and evil character.

29. Shed the tears of mercy and compassion; show the way of liberation to the world.

30. After we die (depart) from this life, it is extremely difficult to obtain a human life.

31. Everyone thinks that people wonтАЩt be born after death.

32. But no, one gets a human life again by oneтАЩs own meritorious deeds.

33. One obtains that kind of fruit (effect) equal to oneтАЩs own work. (As you sow, so shall you reap.)

34. Now the world is influenced by three forms.

35. The first form is greed; the second form is anger; the third form is attachment and jealousy that are influencing this world.

36. May all the religious traditions change!

37. Adherents of all religions need to first search for the path of Truth,

38. keeping mercy, compassion, non-violence, and peace, they need to beautify the human world with the way of liberation.

39. For the emancipation of living beings of the world, I am emanating bodhicitta [1].

40. Until I gain the ultimate accomplishment of Samyak Sambodhi [2], I will only be doing penance and meditation.

41. Accomplishing Samyak Sambodhi

42. May all beings be peaceful!

Notes:

[1] The intention to achieve omniscient Buddhahood (Trikaya) as fast as possible, so that one may benefit infinite sentient beings. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodhicitta)

[2] There are several levels of enlightened consciousness and sambodhi is the level, where all levels disappear (are equal).

Footnote: Dharma Sangha does not often use the pronoun "I" in speeches, it is added to make translation easier to understand. The use of "I" is in fact rare. First person verbal indications (-chhu) are more common than the personal pronoun "I" (ma, though not to be confused with the same word, which is the post-position for "in" or "at", such as "tyo samay ma" тАУ at that time) and sometimes the word "my" (mero). Most common is the use of "one's own" (aphno).
